John Larry Walker, 69, of Poplar Creek, passed away on Wednesday, December 24. He was born in Lonoke County, Arkansas on February 10, 1956. Prior to retirement, he worked in the construction industry as a surveyor.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Walker (Shawn Copes); son, John Walker; four sisters, Ivy Moon, Judy Briggs, Linda Walker, and Joyce Little; two brothers, Donnie Walker, and Douglas Walker; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Walker; mother, Lucy Myrtle Wallace King; and brother, Bud Walker.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., December 29, 2025, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Danny Rosemond officiating the service.
