Johnnie Summers Weeks, 86, of Pearl, Mississippi passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 31, 1938, in Montgomery County, Mississippi, Mrs. Weeks dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home for her husband, Purvie, and their two children, James Dale Weeks, and Bobbie Armstrong. Mrs. Weeks enjoyed cooking, gardening, visiting friends and family, helping others, and spending time with her grandson. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Pearl, Mississippi.
Mrs. Weeks is survived by her two children, James Dale Weeks and Bobbie Armstrong (Tim); one grandson, James Armstrong of Vaiden, and many other cherished family members and friends.
Mrs. Weeks was preceded in death by her husband, Purvie Weeks, her parents, Inez and Sam Summers, sibling, S.L. Summers and an infant sister.
Graveside services will be July 19, 2025, at Sarepta Cemetery in Stewart, Mississippi at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the services. Honorary Pallbearers will be Raymond Gillon, Jr., Toby Gillon, Terry Weeks, Thomas Weeks, Doug Weeks, Danny Weeks, and Todd Lynch.
