
Mrs. Jonny Lou Anderson Kealhofer passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at her residence in North Carrollton, at the age of 95.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. Dr. Gary Roberson and Rev. Ed McDaniel will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Stanley “Sugar” Mullins, Kyle Adams, Gayland Cox, Ross Bankston, Jerry Beckwith and Larry McClain. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Keith Rushing, her Sunday school class at Carrollton Baptist Church, and her caregiver, Pam Reagan.
Mrs. Kealhofer was born August 20, 1925 in Buncome County, North Carolina to John David and Laura Baines Cole. She was a retired nurse, serving in several different capacities including public health, public school, and surgical nursing. She was a member of Carrollton Baptist Church and a lifetime member of Cherokee Rose Garden Club.
She was the widow of the late John Terney Anderson and the late Donald G. “Pete” Kealhofer. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Terney Anderson, Jr.; stepson, Don Kealhofer; three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Anderson Truitt (Frank) of Carrollton; son, Stephen C. Anderson (Lisa) of Carrollton; stepson, Charles Kealhofer of Madison; and a host of nieces and nephews.

So sorry to learn of your mother’s death. She was always so nice to me when we saw each other. I am sorry that I will not be able to come on Friday. I have therapy at the time of service. I will be thinking of you at that time.

Jonnie Lou was a special lady. She was an excellent bridge partner. I enjoyed her so much. I loved her and I will miss her sweet smile. She enhanced my life and always gave me good advice.
