A graveside service for Joyce Jacks Jenkins of Carrollton, GA, formerly of Winona, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5 at Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Nathan Wright will officiate the service.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Friday, January 5 at Oliver Funeral Home before proceeding to the cemetery for the service.
Joyce Jacks Jenkins, 88, passed away at her home in Carrollton, GA on Friday, December 29, 2023. She was born in Montgomery County, MS on February 18, 1935 to Will Tom and Iris Matilda Patridge Jacks. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Richards of Carrollton, GA and Sudie Thomas of Leesburg, GA; son, William Jenkins of Largo, FL; sister, Corrine Johnson of Morton, MS; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Henry Jenkins, Sr.; son, Clyde Henry Jenkins, Jr.; three sisters, Carlene Brister, Charlene Coleman, and Vivian Haile; and brother, William Patridge “Pat” Jacks.
