Funeral services for Juanita Y. Stevenson of Stewart will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 17, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the services.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 17, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.
Juanita passed away early morning October 15, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born December 3, 1951. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with them, especially during holiday gatherings. She had a passion for playing dominoes with family and friends in her spare time. She will be dearly missed by all family and friends.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, John F. Yeager and Rachel Molder Yeager; five brothers, Robert Yeager, John “Buddy” Yeager, Albert Yeager, Clarence Yeager and David Yeager; and six sisters, Mary Hill, Rose Moffett, Myrtle Wages, Nell Morgan, Rachael Yeager and Jewel Strickland.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry Stevenson Sr. of Stewart, MS; three children, Linda (Dave) Spurgeon of Siloam Springs, AR, Larry (Erica) Stevenson of Hernando, MS., Sissy (James) Holman of Nashville, TN and one brother, Jimmy Yeager, of Greenville, MS. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Chris Spurgeon, Nick (Erin) Spurgeon, Chelsea Stevenson, Chase (Courtney) Stevenson, Luke Stevenson, Madison Holman and John-Michael Holman and five great grandchildren, Gunnar Shelton, Skyleigh Shelton, Denton Stevenson, Mason Stevenson and Jett Stevenson.
