A graveside memorial service for Mrs. Judy Slocum Ayers will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 30 at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate the service. Mrs. Ayers passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, at her residence in Carrollton, MS, she was 69 years old.
Mrs. Ayers was born in Greenwood, MS on February 9, 1954, to James William and Lucy Frances Oswell Slocum. She was a retired employee of the MS Department of Human Services. She is survived by her husband James “PeeWee” Ayers of Carrollton; son, James “Jamey” Lott of Carrollton; grandson, Cameron Lott; brother, Jimmy Slocum (Kay) of Carrollton; and several nieces and nephews.
