Larry Dale Stevenson, 77, Stewart, MS passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at his home. He was born January 29, 1949, in Louisville, MS. He lived most of his life in Greenville, MS until his retirement. He then moved to Stewart, MS where he enjoyed hunting and family gatherings.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Juanita Stevenson; his father, Wilbur Madison Stevenson; mother, Maurine Bagwell Stevenson; sisters, Louise Stokes and Bonnie Howell; and brothers, Dwight Stevenson, Shelby Stevenson, Doyle Stevenson, and Robert Stevenson.
Larry is survived by his three children, Linda (Dave) Spurgeon of Siloam Springs, AR, Larry (Erica) Stevenson of Hernando, MS and Sissy (James) Holman of Nashville, TN; one brother, Dwayne (Dot) Stevenson of North Carolina; and Kenneth West of Canton, MS; seven grandchildren, Chris Spurgeon, Nick (Erin) Spurgeon, Chelsea Stevenson, Chase (Courtney) Stevenson, Luke Stevenson, Madison Holman, and John-Michael Holman; and five great-grandchildren, Gunnar Shelton, Skyleigh Shelton, Denton Stevenson, Mason Stevenson and Jett Stevenson.
