A graveside service for Libby Johnson Montgomery will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, at Clarkson Cemetery in Webster County. Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the service.
Libby Johnson Montgomery, 77, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at her residence in French Camp. She was born March 1, 1948, to Richard Thomas and Mamie Cordell Johnson. She was a member of French Camp Baptist Church. She was a 1966 graduate of Cumberland High School and a retired phone operator for Bell South and AT&T.
She is survived by her brother, Steve Johnson; brother-in-law, Claude King; nieces, Christy Wise, Becky Moore, Jessie VanderLinde and Stephanne Johnson; nephew, Charlie Johnson; and a host of great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, John Thomas Montgomery; sister, Charlotte King; and brother, Charles “Bud” Johnson.
