Linda Gail Parker Gardner

January 18, 1955 – January 6, 2026

Linda Gail Parker Gardner, 70 passed from her earthly home to her eternal home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. She was born January 18, 1955, and raised in Miami, Florida. She made a profession of faith at a young age, so we take comfort in knowing she is with the Lord.

At one time Linda was a long-haul truck driver. She later went back to school and got her nursing degree while living in Florida. She began her nursing career in Florida and later moved to Grenada, Mississippi and worked at Grenada Hospital for several years until she retired.

Linda had a love for animals, with horses being her favorite. In her pastime, she enjoyed all types of arts & crafts from: ceramics, cross stitching, crocheting, and her most recent, diamond painting. She loved gifting to family & friends her many creations.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Randall Parker; daughter, Tricia Dawn Parker; sisters, Pandra Kay Parker and Candia Bridgette Cook; brother, Kenneth Randall Parker (Billie Jean); grandson, Randy Parker; granddaughter, Robyn Parker; great grandsons, Dustin and Dawson; her aunt, Rosette Rogers; uncle, Clark Rogers; cousin, David Rogers; and nieces, nephews, friends, and her dog, Charlie, who she loved and who brought her much comfort.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alton Randall Parker; mother, Clara Bea Parker; brother-in-law, Milton Dale Cook; and her dog, Brandy.

There will be a private family graveside service held at Pine Bluff Cemetery in Montgomery County, near Poplar Creek.

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV)
