Funeral services for Linda Sue Holmes Rawles, of McCarley, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at Poplar Springs cemetery near Kilmichael. Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Kyle Adams, Delvin Bradley, Jeff Evans, Rusty Woods, Michael Palmertree, and Kenneth Stone.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 10, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.
Linda Sue Holmes Rawles, 75, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, at her residence in McCarley. She was born to James and Fannie Mae Holmes on May 8, 1948. She worked many years as a waitress at the Winona Hitching Post restaurant.
Mrs. Rawles is survived by her sons, Mike Rawles (Jennifer), Ricky Rawles (Laurie), and Ivan “Bubba” Rawles, III (Heidi); sister, Carolyn Beck; brothers, Wendell Holmes and Danny Holmes; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Rawles, Jr.
