Malcolm McNeil Bennett III

December 3, 1973 – June 20, 2025

Funeral services for Malcolm McNeil Bennett III will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Carrollton Presbyterian Church in Carrollton, MS. Burial will follow in Evergreen cemetery in North Carrollton, MS. Kevin Smith and Rev. Mike Allday will officiate the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Adams, Doug Smith, Roger Bennett, James Paul Wiltshire, Landon Turner, Johnny Mims, and Chad Mattox. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Jones, Greg James, William Tucker, Cory Robinson, and Johnny Bennett.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.

Mr. Bennett, age 51, passed away at his residence in Carrollton on Friday, June 20, 2025. He was a member of Carrollton Presbyterian Church in Carrollton, MS. He was a long-haul hazmat truck driver for many years; he was also a 1992 graduate of Carroll Academy and received his bachelor’s degree from Delta State University. Malcolm was a true patriot, he loved God, family, land, tractors, guns, knives, and rock and roll, which was displayed through his love of being a musician.

He is survived by his wife, Amber Jones Bennett of Carrollton; son, Malcolm McNeil Bennett IV; daughters, Arabella Ruth Bennett and Avery Lynn Brower; his mother, Mary Alford Bennett of Carrollton; and his sisters, Mary Allen Bennett of Jackson and Frances Bennett of Madison. He was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm McNeil Bennett, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Carrollton Presbyterian Church, PO Box 201, Carrollton, MS 38917.
