Margaret E. Corder

Margaret E. Corder, 99, of North Carrollton, MS, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Greenwood. She was born in Carroll County, MS to Vasser and Myrtle Parham Corder on February 4, 1925. She was a member of North Carrollton Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed being outdoors, working in her yard and cutting grass. Prior to retiring, she worked as a secretary for the town of North Carrollton.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Stone of Carrollton, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Smith; sisters, Ahlean Harrison, and Dorothy Jones; and brother, Winfred P. Corder.

A graveside memorial service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date with service time to be announced.
