A graveside service for Margaret Louise Logan Lee of Vaiden will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, at Vaiden Cemetery. Rev. Philip McRae will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Friday, July 8, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Oliver Funeral Home.
Margaret Louise Logan Lee, 91, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Vaiden Community Living Center. She was born on December 6, 1930, to David Ben and Ruthie Mae Huggins Logan. She was the retired co-owner of Lee’s One Stop in Madison and also worked for a time at Penn’s Fish House in Madison and Canton. She once received Employee of the Year from Sprint Mart in Ridgeland. Earlier in life she worked as a telephone operator for AT&T in Greenwood.
Ms. Lee is survived by daughter, Connie Hamil of Vaiden; son, Calvin B. Lee of Canton; sister, Hazel Logan Weed of Batesville; seven grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Glynn Lee; two sisters; and two brothers.
