Mark Nail

Funeral services for Mark Nail of French Camp will be held on Saturday, September 17, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethsaida Baptist Church Family Life Center near French Camp, with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. Randy Bridges, Rev. Frank Vaughn, and Rev. Ryan Vaughn will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Cole Vaughn, Hunter Vaughn, Rex Green, Brian Shearer, Charles “Puddin” Steed, and Butch Bright. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Summerlin, Jim Castle, Johhny Carson, Travis Grice, Matt Henson, Cole Henson, Chad Fauver, Bronc McMullen, Mike Swindoll, Kerry Lee, and Charlie Beddingfield.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until service time in the Family Life Center.

Mark Nail, 44, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora. He was born on October 2, 1977 in Kilmichael. He worked as a pipeline superintendent and was a Master Mason, Shriner and member of the Natchez Trace Lodge #609 in French Camp and the Hamasa Shrine. He was a member of French Camp Baptist Church.

Mark is survived by his wife, Kristy Nail; two sons, Connor Nail and Caleb Nail; mother, Sharon Castle (Hank); father, Mike Nail (Nancy); two sisters, Megan Castle Hill (Bo) and Amber Castle Summerlin (Justin); grandmothers, Dorothy Powell and Marianne Castle; aunt, Gina Vaughn (Frank); and nine nieces and nephews, Brianna Grice, Maci Grice, Noah Hill, Hanna Summerlin, Russell Leonard, Milee Summerlin, Eli Hill, Kyle Grice, and Kip Summerlin. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Buck and Barbara Nail, Irby Swindol, and Allen “Red” Castle; and two uncles, Ricky Nail and Mark Steven Nail.
