
Funeral services for Mrs. Marlene F. Armstrong, of French Camp, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, at Bethsaida Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. Randy Bridges and Rev. Daniel Jolly will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Danny Wilbanks, Chris Wilbanks, Jimmy Josey, Dustin Autry, John Dendy, and Kevin Connell. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Gene Henderson, Jerry Crowder, W.T. Pollard, and Bo Leonard.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday, January 18, at Bethsaida Baptist Church.
Mrs. Armstrong passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS at the age of 78. She was born in St. Louis, MO to Ray and Jessie Rineheart Miller on March 31, 1946. She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, John “Buster” Armstrong of French Camp; sister, Darlene Pritchard of Stewart; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John “J.L.” Armstrong, Jr.; brother, Ray D. Miller, Jr.; and niece, Jessie O. Wilbanks.
