Mrs. Mary Alice Boyd Chriswell formerly of Greenwood passed away peacefully Thursday, November 11, 2021. She was born November 30, 1927 to James Meek Boyd and Bertha Putnam Boyd. Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Bradford Alexander Chrismond, parents, brother, sister, and recent husband of 43 years, Harvey Stephen Chriswell.
Mrs. Chriswell is survived by her son Kenneth Boyd Chrismond and wife Lisa Rena, with whom she lived, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mary was a member of North Greenwood Baptist Church, retired from Southern Bell Telephone and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Greenwood Chapter.
To honor Mary’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. Her request, in lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
