
Funeral services for Pam Burson Karr of Stewart will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19 in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Greensboro Cemetery near Tomnolen. The committal service will be held in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John White and Rev. Roger Mitchell will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Winston Yeatman, Scott Yeatman, Chris Lane, Eric Yeatman, Heath Yeatman, Chris Merritt, Tyler Cox, and Larry Tharp.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 19 from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pam Burson Karr, 62, passed away at her residence in Stewart on Friday, July 17, 2026. She was born in Kilmichael on September 13, 1963 to Jimmy and Patsy Ann Burson. She was a former restaurant owner and accountant for Jaco Foods. She had a caregiver’s heart who loved serving others and loved her cats. She enjoyed playing softball and was a member of the Church of Christ Restored in Stewart.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her brother, Royce Burson (Mechelle) of Stewart; her aunt, Sara Yeatman of Stewart; and a host of cousins and extended family. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tabatha “Tabby” Karr; and her husband, Danny Karr.

Royce, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Pam was just like her sweet mother Patsy. Both gone to soon from the early mindset, but the Lord’s will belongs to him to his glory and to his purpose in all things. Rest in peace sweet Pam. No more pain, no more grieving.
