Funeral services for Patsy A. Braswell of Winona will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Coila, with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. Tracy Putnam will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Brad Aldridge, Jason Alford, Kalin Alford, Chad Joiner, John Howerton, and Lawrence Braswell.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 19, from 1:00 p.m. until service time in the church sanctuary.
Patsy A. Braswell, 86, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Country Meadow Personal Care Home in Greenwood. She was born to Homer and Christine Ezell Addy on March 4, 1936. She was a member of North Winona Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Mrs. Braswell is survived by her daughters, Paulda Henson of Louisville, Janice Kilgore of Winona, and Theresa Coward of Coila; brother, Joe Addy of Vicksburg; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Carlis Braswell; son, Merrick Braswell; grandchild, Corey Aldridge; brother, Kermit Addy, and sister, Peggy Winstead.
