Peggy F. Fitts

Funeral services for Peggy F. Fitts, of Kilmichael, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15 in the Oliver Funeral Home chapel, with burial following in Woods Springs Cemetery in Choctaw County near Tomnolen. Rev. Jamie Lamoreaux will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be William Parker, Adam Tharp, Zach Warren, John Peden, Skylar Peden and Chuck Upchurch.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 15 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Peggy F. Fitts, 87, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Merit Health Madison in Canton, MS. She was born on November 8, 1933 to Luther and Opal Peacock in Choctaw County. She was a retired retail clerk of Cully Rexall Drugs in Greenville and a member of Woods Springs Baptist Church in Choctaw County near Tomnolen. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Odell Fitts of Kilmichael; daughter, Opal Ann Edmonds of Kilmichael; son, Jimmy Fitts (Lori) of Camden, MS; sister, Jo Augimeri of Siloam Springs, AR; two grandchildren, Sarah Warren (Zach) of Canton and Adam Tharp (Briana) of Brandon; great-grandson, Colton Warren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Butch Edmonds; and sister, Gwen Daar.
