Richard “Dick” Lehman

Funeral services for Richard “Dick” Lehman of West will be held Tuesday, November 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Vaiden Cemetery. Rev. Leon Holly and Rev. Lyn Nations will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Sammie Henderson, Thomas “Toad” Donahoo, Steve Braud, Josh Pacillo, Alvin Green, and Joe Don Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Haggard Yates, Wendy Cade, Bob McEachern, and his church family at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23 from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Lehman, 78, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. He was born August 5, 1943, to William A. and Marion Kresl Lehman. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in West, MS and a member of the Carroll County Forestry Association. He was a founder of Citizen’s for Equitable Taxes, an avid fisherman and hunter, loved spending time with his family and friends, and had a great sense of humor.

Mr. Lehman is survived by his wife, Linda Grantham Breazeale Lehman of West; daughters, Anita Goodrum (Brent) of Eupora, Regina Breazeale Kendall of Winona; and Dianna Harris (Alan) of Colorado; sons, Kenneth Lehman of Grenada, and Danny Lehman (Roberta) of Franklin, TN; seven grandchildren, Madison Goodrum, Ryan Pacillo, Josh Pacillo, Melissa Pacillo, Lillian Harris, Jonathan Harris, and Richard Daniel Lehman; two great-grandchildren, Cohen Pacillo and Mara Cate Pacillo; and niece Cindy Kirby (Jim) of Carnation, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents.

  2. Thank you Barbara, I really do miss Dick since he passed away. He was my husband but also my best friend. This is a “HUGE” void in my life. He was so sick and was in constant pain. Now I know where he is because he loved the Lord and I will see him again soon.
