Ricky passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, October 16, at Merit Health in Jackson. Ricky was born on July 23, 1960, to Fred and Patricia Crumley in Greenville, MS. He gave his life to Christ at Emmanuel Baptist Church and was a member of the Vaiden Baptist Church. He retired after working over 26 years for his best friend, Jerry Alford at Alford’s Heating and Air. He loved his family and all of his “adopted” children. Ricky was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and sibling. He proudly served as a volunteer fireman for the city of Vaiden where he was captain. He was an avid hunter of the “big bucks” and a fisherman of all crappie, bass, and catfish. He loved the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Crumley, children, Richard Crumley, Scott Ellis, Amanda (Johnny) Nguyen, Shannon Allen, Lacey Elizabeth West, Mallory Crumley, Sadie Trish Crumley, and Kathryn (Ashton) Armstrong, 32 grandchildren that gave him the name “Bopbaw”, 3 great-grandchildren, sister Elaine Hairston and brother Freddie Crumley.

He was met at the gates of Heaven by his parents, his daughter, Cassandra Crumley-Watson, and his sisters, Margaret Jones and Cynthia “Cindy” Toten, and 3 grandsons.

Pallbearers will be Casey Hairston, Steven Toten, James T. Mardis, John Kenneth Downs, Johnny Nguyen, and Peyton Manzo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Alford and Johnny Burrell.

While our hearts ache at the loss of Ricky Crumley, let us remember him as he would want us to: with smiles on our faces and laughter in our souls. As we bid farewell to our dear Ricky, let us cherish the memories he left behind and strive to sprinkle laughter into the lives of others, just as he did for us.
