
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Russell “Bobby” Love, of Kilmichael, will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, at Poplar Creek Nations Baptist Church in Kilmichael, with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Brennan Chism, Josh Beam, Chase Amason, Ethan Chastain, Chad Woods, and Javier Villasenor. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mason Moody, Jase Moody, Kolt Love, Maverick Love, Maximo Villasenor, and Mattias Villasenor.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 20, from 2:30 p.m. until service time at Poplar Creek Nations Baptist Church.
Mr. Love, 73, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, at his residence in Kilmichael. He was born in Columbus, MS to Jimmie J. and Edna Ruth Bishop Love on March 26, 1953. Bobby enjoyed listening to music and reading the Bible. Before his illness, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening, raising cows and horses, and cutting hay. He found great joy in duck hunting during his yearly trips to Stuttgart, AR. He took great pride in owning and operating restaurants, where he built lasting relationships with the community.
He is survived by his daughters, Kerri Love of Cleveland and Amanda Villasenor (Javier) of Eupora; sons, Mikie Love (Kendal) of Kilmichael, Bobby Love (Felicia) of Eupora and Christopher Allen Dewberry of Cedar Hill, Texas; brothers, Bruce Love of Arkansas and Barry Love (Sandy) of Tennessee; sixteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Kay “Angie” Love.
