A graveside service for Roy Clifford McGee of Vaiden will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, at Community Baptist Church Cemetery near Kilmichael. Rev. Jerry McNeer will officiate the service.
Mr. McGee, 88, passed away at Vaiden Community Living Center on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He was born in Selmer, TN, to William Troy and Alice Smith McGee on January 25, 1933. He was a retired district manager for a department store chain and was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Mr. McGee is survived by three daughters, Patricia Johnson of Kilmichael, Cindy McCorkle of Vaiden, and Diane Stubbs of Vaiden; two brothers, William T. McGee Jr. of Coldwater and Dewey McGee of Memphis; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Annie Frances Laxson McGee; and son, Roy C. McGee Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
