A memorial service for Mr. Roy Veston “Randy” Stewart of Vaiden will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bill Mills will officiate the service.
The family will receive guests Friday, August 26, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Roy Veston “Randy” Stewart, 68, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. He was born October 10, 1953, in Vaiden, MS.
Mr. Stewart is survived by his sons, Dale Stewart (Meghan) of McCarley and Deric Stewart of Kosciusko; sister, Dorothy Faye Tapley of Nettleton; two grandchildren, Nolan Stewart and Easton Stewart; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Stewart and Dorothy Nichols Downs; son, Derrick Everett “Bobo” Stewart; and sister, Margie Sue Williams.
So very sorry to hear about our lifelong friend Randy. So many good memories of high school days and fun times. Sending prayers to the family during this sad time. Cuz you been in my heart since we were little kids when I lived with my grandmother. I know you had a good life. We had a lot of adventures in the woods and when I visited you when we were kids. I miss you Cuz

So sorry to hear this !!! Randy and I were classmates at Vaiden and we graduated together on Sunday 05/21/1972. He will be missed, but we will see him again in Eternity through the Love and Blessings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Prayers for his Family and Friends through this sad time.
