Sarah Faye Lester

Graveside services for Sarah Faye Lester of Winona will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 5 at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery in Winona. Rev. Terry Corley will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 5 from 2:30 p.m. until service time at the cemetery.

Mrs. Lester, 74, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. She was born March 31, 1947, in Winona to Marion Lee “Monkey” and Ollie Bell Parker Sykes. She was a homemaker and a member of the North Winona Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and was known to be a caring and loving friend who would help anyone in any way that she could.

Mrs. Lester is survived by her daughter, Betty Ann McCoy of Winona; sister, Nora Bell Doss of Grenada; and brother Guy Lee Sykes of Winona. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Howard Rawson.
