A graveside service for Susan Matthews of Winona will be held immediately following visitation on Tuesday, March 17 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery near Kilmichael, with Rev. Bobby Palmertree officiating the service.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home.
Susan Matthews, 60, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at her residence in Winona. She was born in Marengo, IN to Norman and Brenda Faulkenburg on August 15, 1965. She was a homemaker who loved to travel, especially to the beach. She loved dogs and chickens and loved taking care of her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Timmy Matthews; daughter, Megan Faulkenburg; mother, Brenda Faulkenburg; granddaughter, Nora Griffin; brother, Mark Faulkenburg; two nieces, Kassie Duncan Faulkenburg and Whitney Henderson; and cousin, Debra Byerly Buckman. She was preceded in death by her father; and sister, Sandy Faulkenburg.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Susan was in my HS graduating class of 1983. I remember smile. She was usually pretty quiet. Prayers for her family, especially her husband, Timmy, of 37 years.
