Thomas Eugene Fife, 79, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at his home in Winona, MS. Tom was born in Baskin, Louisiana, and grew up in a loving home provided by his beloved “Granny,” Sarah Humphreys and his “Dad,” Leland Humphreys, in Bastrop, Louisiana. Tom graduated from Winnsboro (LA) High School and Louisiana State University -Shreveport and spent most of his career as a police officer in Monroe, Shreveport, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Tom is survived by his son, William L. Fife (Martha) of Beaverton, OR, and his daughters, Alison S. Fife and Paxton C. Fife of Cedar Falls, IA. In addition to his parents, James and Myrtle Fife, his granny, and his dad, Tom was preceded in death by his daughter Kelly.
