Vera Perry Ivy

Graveside services for Mrs. Vera Perry Ivy of Carrollton will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3 at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville, MS. Rev. Robert Armstrong will officiate the service.

Mrs. Ivy, 96, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Vaiden Community Living Center. She was born October 15, 1925 to Silas and Rosie Pritchard Perry. She served her family as a homemaker. She loved people and loved helping others.

Mrs. Ivy is survived by daughter, Debbie Miller (Rusty) of Carrollton; son, Kenneth James (Berry Nell) of Mindon, LA; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James D. “JD” Ivy; daughter, Sue Oliveaux; grandson, Graham Ivy; granddaughter, Libby Miller; and four siblings.

  1. I was only in Mrs.Ivy’s life for a very short time but she touched my heart and I thought about her daily. She was the sweetest soul. I am praying for the family in this difficult time.
