Willie Mae Carpenter

Funeral services for Willie Mae Carpenter of Judsonia, AR, formerly of Winona, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23 at Scotland Baptist Church in Winona, with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. Paul Trosper will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Doug Carpenter, Jacob Carpenter, Josh Carpenter, and Christian Henson.

Visitation will be Friday, September 23 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Willie Mae Carpenter, 79, passed away at her daughter’s residence in Judsonia, AR on Monday, September 19, 2022. She was born in Calhoun City on April 24, 1943, to Edgar Louis and Audrey Parker White. She was a retired homemaker and seamstress and was a member of Scotland Baptist Church in Winona.

Ms. Carpenter is survived by her daughter, Olivia Dawn Henson of Judsonia, AR; two sons, Bill Carpenter (Susan) of Winona and Gary Carpenter (Stacey) of Chester, SC; sister, Lillie Ann Walls of North Little Rock, AR; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Scotland Baptist Church, 725 Scotland Rd, Winona, MS 38967.

  1. I have such great memories of Willie and Mack. I loved them as my neighbors in Augusta Arkansas. She was such a jolly a go, go type of a person. You are with my friend Mac now. Tell him hello for me.

    I will cherish the sweet memories I have of the last visit she and I had together! Wish I could have been you all for the service, but didn’t work out. Will be praying for you all. Love and hugs.
