Funeral services for Allen Shane Pearson Sr. will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 8, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Scotland Baptist Church Cemetery in Winona. Rev. Otis Johnson will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Josh Lane, J.P. McElroy, Rhodi McElroy, Kolby Boyle, Riley Nast, and John Mark Moulder. Honorary pallbearers will be Melvin Pryor, Richie Prime, Roy Hitt, Mike Franklin, and Richard Prine.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 8, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.
Allen Shane Pearson Sr., 70, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026. He was born in Arkansas on June 8, 1955, to Charles “Moot” and Winnie Smith Pearson. Shane enjoyed hunting, fishing, and skiing.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Moulder Pearson; daughters, Amy Pearson Lane (Adam) and Alison Boyle (Lee); sons, Allen S. Pearson Jr. and Timothy Pearson (Tiffany); sister, Diane Green (David); brother, Marion Lee Pearson; fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Pearson.
