A graveside service for Christine Self of Vaiden will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, at Vaiden Cemetery in Vaiden, MS. Rev. Philip McRae will officiate the service.
Christine Self, 93, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022, at Vaiden Community Living Center in Vaiden, MS. She was born September 13, 1929, to Whitlock Caldwell and Bessie Welch Caldwell Self. She was a member of Shongalo Presbyterian Church in Vaiden, MS. She was a retired factory worker.
Ms. Self is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Earline Shaw and Marine Buford; and brothers, Larry Self, Ralph Self, and Bud Caldwell.
