You will be missed! Milton and Marla Pegram
Jef and I met in the mid 90’s through our mutual employer Tower Loan. I met Jef for the first time with Sean, Jef’s then boss, at a bar on HWY 51 somewhere around Durant. We became best of friends. I was transferred to Shreveport by Tower Loan, but wouldn’t go unless they allowed me to take Jef to help me clean that location- Jef was the smartest and best most loyal worker I have ever known. We went !! We were roommates and life was so much fun. After that time period we still worked at the same company, although at different locations, until Jef went to work with Miller Lite and I saw him occasionally. I opened All American Check Cashing because of Jef. Jef was working for a PayDay place and he showed me the industry insides. Jef has formed and changed my life more than he ever knew. There are so many fond memories and stories I can’t tell ‘em. But, his kindness, his wit and personality are way too rare in today’s world. Jef was loyal, loving, trustworthy, humble and he got it honest, as I knew his precious mother that Jef so dearly loved. I will miss you, my friend and so wish I woulda stopped by to visit you that one last time or made that phone call, I’m sorry; You are gone way too soon. RIP
