A graveside memorial service for Kristie Welch Hairston of Grenada, formerly of Carrollton, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Vaiden Cemetery in Vaiden, MS. Bro. Barry Worrell will officiate the service.
Kristie Welch Hairston, 48, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024, at her residence in Grenada, MS. She was born in Atlanta, GA to Donald and Linda Haller Welch April 4, 1976. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greenwood, MS.
She is survived by her son, Cris Hairston of Madison; mother, Linda J. Welch of Carrollton; sister, Georgiana King of Grenada; and brother, Sonny Welch of Grenada. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Gene Welch and her son, Rivers Kyle Hairston.

I am so sorry to hear that Kristie had passed. I have so many great memories of being friends while we were at Bankston and living on the same street. Praying for peace and comfort in the days ahead.
