Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Mann Bailey, of McCarley, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, at McCarley Baptist Church, with burial following at Coila Cemetery. Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Jerry Shaw, Gil Shaw, Jeremy Johnson, Jon Johnson, Josh Howard, and Bailey Howard. Her great-grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 22, from 3:00 p.m. until service time at McCarley Baptist Church.
Mrs. Martha Mann Bailey, 95, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at her residence in McCarley. She was born in Carroll County, MS to Victor and Vera Wiltshire Mann on August 17, 1930. Martha was a member of McCarley Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and found great joy in yard work and working in her garden.
She is survived by her daughter, Renee Howard; sons, Donny Johnson and Danny Johnson (Julia); sisters, Dorothy Carpenter and Virginia Shaw; brother, Victor “Hayden” Mann; ten grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Ray Bailey; two sons, Jimmy Johnson and Jeff Bailey; sister, Bobbie Ann Johnson; and brother, William “Bubba” Mann.

This lady was very special to me. She always loved me and me her. We kept in touch alot of years until we couldn’t hear on the phone anymore. She taught me so much and literally took me under her wing when I was young. Love always, Mawmaw.
