Mildred Louise Woods Martin McKee

January 30, 1930 – March 5, 2025

Mildred L. McKee, 95, a life-long resident of Winona, Mississippi, died at Oxford Hospital, on March 5, 2025.

Mildred was born in Yalobusha County, Mississippi, on January 30, 1930, to Charles Lenoil Woods, Sr. and Glendora Arbuckle Woods.

She is survived by her three children, Patsy Louise Martin, Glyndle Sue (Bonnie) Lott of Winona, Mississippi, and Jerry Charles (Bud) Martin (Debbie) of Oxford, Mississippi; grandchildren, Mark Evans Martin (Mary Ann), Lee Andrew Martin (Jennifer), Teresa Nabors Green (James), Laura Martin Ables (Marty) and Erica Culpepper (Jay). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Frank Woods of Elkhart, Indiana, and her beloved dog, Smokey.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie Nabors Ferguson; her parents, Charles Lenoil Woods and Glendora Woods Beckum and siblings, Elizabeth Woods Lott, Lorene Woods Sanders, Lenoil Woods, Jr. and Emmitt Woods.

Mildred ran her own business for more than 40 years and only retired as recently as 2022. She loved growing tomatoes and showing everyone how big they would grow. She was already planning on only planting 2 plants this year.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Winona Garden of Memory. Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory at your place of choice.
