Paul Wayne Oliver

April 12, 1961 – January 14, 2025

A graveside service for Mr. Paul Wayne Oliver of Montrose, AR, formerly of Vaiden, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, at Michie Cemetery near Vaiden. Rev. John Lumbley will officiate the service.

Mr. Oliver, 63, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Vaiden Community Living Center. He was born in Vaiden, MS to William Clair and Mary Lou King Oliver on April 12, 1961. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and listening to music. He deeply loved and cherished his family. He was a retired skidder operator having logged for most of his career.

He is survived by his daughters, Felicia Steele (Wendell) of Indiana and Stephanie Oliver of Oklahoma; son, Christopher Oliver (Cydnee) of Montrose, AR; sister, Judy Cuomo of Vaiden; brother, Mike Oliver of Vaiden; three grandchildren, Isabella Oliver, Wyatt Oliver, and Victoria Oliver; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Gibson and Rita Parker.

  2. Felicia, I am so sorry. Your dad was a great man. He was always so kind to me. He loved you dearly and is very proud of you. You have always taken such good care of your dad and yall held a special bond. I love you and am here for you always.
