Funeral services for Mr. Richard Earl Turbeville, Jr. of McCarley will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Hopewell Cemetery in Vaiden, MS. Rev. Damon Tipton will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Robert King, Jerry Shaw, Jeremy Buckhalter, Dillon Leblanc, Johnny Huggins, and Mike Thornton. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Sam Deluna.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 15, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.

Mr. Richard Earl Turbeville, 55, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at his residence in McCarley. He was born in Winona, MS to Richard Earl and Lesie Scarberry Turbeville on July 6, 1969. He was a member of The Pentecostals of Grenada. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie Turbeville of McCarley; daughter, Ashleigh Dickerson (Connor) of Florence; son, Austin Turbeville (Ashley) of Florence; mother, Lesie Turbeville; four grandchildren: Steston Earl Turbeville, Atlyn Kay Turbeville, Keifer Nolan Dickerson, and Kirby Lamar Dickerson. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Earl Turbeville; grandparents, Nan and Bill Turbeville and Robert and Willie Mae Scarberry.

Richard fought a good fight. His family wishes to express special thanks to the doctors and nurses at MD Anderson in Houston, TX for their wonderful care and support.
