Robert Prescott Noah

January 6, 2006 – September 1, 2024

Robert Prescott Noah, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on September 1, 2024, at the age of 18. Born January 6, 2006, in Jackson, Mississippi, Robert was a senior at Madison-Ridgeland Academy with plans to attend the University of Mississippi in the fall of 2025. He was a member of St. Richard of Chichester Catholic Church in Jackson.

Robert was known for his kind heart and infectious smile, traits that made him adored by all who knew him. He was the only student at Madison Ridgeland Academy to receive the coveted PAT (People Acting Thoughtful) Trophy three years in a row, an achievement that highlighted his sincere acts of kindness and unwavering compassion. His leadership in the “Patgang” student fan section and his dedication to his school and friends will be fondly remembered, especially his signature traffic cone adorned with the names of fellow students he carried to school sporting events.

Since his early years, he was a passionate Boy Scout, earning the rank of Eagle Scout in January, a testament to his dedication to service and leadership. He cherished outdoor adventures—particularly those spent with his father—and found joy in traveling the world with his family and exploring new cultures and experiences. Robert was also a talented artist, having won the Scholastic Silver Key Art Award.

He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and spent his summers interning with the Saints during his summer breaks. He was a proud uncle to Celia, whom he adored. Family was everything to Robert. He was happiest when he was surrounded by all of his cousins.

Robert is survived by his loving parents, Marcie and Tally Noah, his brother Vincent, his niece Celia Rose, and her mother Bella Newbrough. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Debbie Roy (Marshall) and Victor Napoli Sr. (Tammy). He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Reida Bouchillon and Robert Mann “Bobby” Noah.

He is also survived by his aunts Melissa Reynolds (Scott); Melanie Loomis (Mickey), Mary Napoli, Stephanie Boyle (Jonathon), and Holley Mitchell; his uncles Travis Harper and Victor Anthony Napoli Jr.; and his cousins Jim, William, and Kate Creamer, Reid Reynolds, Alex (Amanda), Katherine, Sam, and Lucy Loomis, Grayson Alcott, Owen and Jude Boyle, Cole and Hope Harper, and Ella Mitchell.

Visitation will be held on September 10 at St. Richard of Chichester Catholic Church in Jackson from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m., followed by a funeral mass at noon and a reception in Foley Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to CARA Community Animal Rescue and Adoption, an organization that was near and dear to Robert’s heart. Donations may be mailed to P.O. Box 231, Clinton, MS 39060, or made online at carams.org/donate.

Robert’s kindness, love for life, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
