
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Grace Rodgers Paris of Poplarville, MS, formerly of Kilmichael, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, at Poplar Creek Nations Baptist Church. Rev. Ken Rhodes, assisted by Rev. Randy Bridges, will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Hitt, Roy Hitt, Ron Wood, Scotty Crimm, Michael Allen Murphy and Al Snellgrove.
Visitation will be Friday, October 10, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Poplar Creek Nations Baptist Church.
Mrs. Paris, 87, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025, at her residence in Poplarville. She was born to Roy and Pearl Stoddard Rodgers on September 1, 1938. She was a member of Juniper Grove Baptist Church in Poplarville, MS. She was a homemaker and also worked for Futorian Manufacturing in Eupora and McGregor Manufacturing in Winona, prior to retiring.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Weathersby (Bobby) of Poplarville; sisters, Joyce Crimm of Mathiston, Clara Hill of Bellefontaine, and LaDell Johnson Weaver of Eupora; sister in love, Lillian Rodgers of Spring Hill; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey “Sambo” Paris; brother, Roy Rodgers, Jr. and twin infant sisters, Eva and Neva Rodgers.
