Shawn Timothy Malone Jr.

November 11, 1991 – November 8, 2025

Services for Shawn Timothy Malone Jr., 33, will be held on Thursday, November 13, at 2pm in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Bluff Springs Cemetery. Bro. Redis Nash, Bro. David Rogers and Bro. Ron Barnhill will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Steven Mann Jr., Jacob Mann, Alex Pearson, Jeffrey Hunt, Jacob Birdsong, and Will Birdsong. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Barnhill, Joseph Day, Stephen Cummings, and Caleb Carver.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 13, from 12pm until time of the service at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.

Tim passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on November 8, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1991, in Grenada, MS to Edna Barnhill Malone of Winona, MS and Shawn Malone of Como, TX. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. After high school Tim went on to get a degree in welding but was currently employed by Biewer Lumber in Winona. He was also a volunteer fireman for Kilmichael Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by one daughter, Zoie Grace Malone of Como, TX; grandmother, Linda Barnhill of Winona; sisters, Miranda Broadus of Lucedale, MS and Chloe Malone of Como, TX; brothers, Nick Malone of Kilmichael, MS and Miles Malone of Como, TX. Tim will also be missed by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his child’s mother Linzie Malone.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rufus and Melba Malone and Ronald and Emma Irene Barnhill.

  2. I be am so sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. He worked with me at SuperValu many years ago. He was a good kid then and I know he grew into a great man. I know he will be greatly missed.

  3. Nephew, it’s still hard to believe that you’re not here with us. I keep looking for you to pull up and say “hey uncle, what’s up?” I miss and love you.
